This week’s offers:

Daily drivers (Great watches for under 2000 EUR)

TAG Heuer Formula 1 Calibre 16 Automatic Chronograph

There are only a few watch brands which have such an authentic historic connection with motor racing as TAG Heuer. This is probably one of the reasons why their beautiful vintage chronographs constantly grow in popularity and value lately.

Looking at their modern pieces we can find several great attributes too but there’s one that makes them the perfect opportunity as everyday watches: they offer a fantastic value for money. This Formula 1 Calibre 16 is a high-quality automatic chronograph from one of the top 10 most famous luxury watch brands in the world for less than 2,000 Euro. Most other manufactures charge double the price or even more for a similar watch. With this watch you have a modern sporty chronograph with stainless steel bracelet, date display and tachymeter scale, the perfect companion for every occasion.

Enthusiast’s corner: Rare or exceptional timepieces

Panerai Luminor Black Seal

Panerai won’t need an introduction and this limited edition is probably not a watch for everyone. But it sure makes an exceptional and unique timepiece. Launched in 2002 and limited to 300 pieces only, this Luminor in brushed titanium comes with a lid that covers the traditional Panerai Luminor display.  Yes some say that watches like this should be kept in a safe for investment purposes but I believe that watches are meant to be worn.

The traditional frogmen and torpedo combination can be found engraved on the lid as well as printed on the dial of the watch. Complete with box and papers this watch sure is a nice find for the Panerai collector or someone looking for a unique piece that is different from the usual wrist watch.

Steal of the week: Great value for the money

Omega Speedmaster Racing

Although the Omega Speedmaster reduced might be under appreciated to the Speedmaster Professional it still makes a great watch. Where many consider the downside to be that it’s not a Speedy Pro and the layout of the dial that just looks and feels different, due to the design and use of colours, this special edition does look and feel different from the regular reduced models.

The Schumacher Racing version was available both on a leather strap and steel bracelet. Besides the bright yellow, it was also available in red and blue. Great watch that still comes at an affordable price if you’re looking to add some colour to your collection.
